Policy Briefs
Pacific Institute of Workplace Relations (PIoWR) — Fair Conditions At Work
About the series
PIoWR Policy Briefs are two-page papers on one question at a time about working conditions for Pacific fishers, seasonal workers and domestic workers.
Each brief will:
- set out the issue in plain language on page one;
- give practical options for governments, employers, unions and partners on page two;
- cite its sources — laws, scheme rules, official data and published research — so readers can check every point;
- be free to download and share as a PDF, and readable on a phone.
Briefs are written for ministers and officials, union leaders, employers, development partners and journalists — and for workers who want to see the case being made for them.
