Fiji is writing legislation to lift fishers’ conditions. ILO is working with Government toward C188. Solomon Islands has already ratified. Crew on Fiji-flagged, Taiwanese and other vessels out of Fiji ports remain in the constituency.

Offer letter, project proposal V3.6, and a draft constitution prepared by PIWR for the Fiji Fishers Union. The constitution is the Union’s instrument. It is not an instrument of PIWR.
